Structured identification, ownership, and management of organisational risk
Risk Registers is a dedicated ZedX application designed to help organisations identify, assess, and manage organisational risks at all levels.
Where Project Portfolios is also licensed, the application can additionally be used to manage project-level risks linked to individual projects and programmes.
It provides a central place to record risks, issues, and incidents, assign ownership, assess impact, and track mitigation or response actions over time.
By standardising how risks, issues, and incidents are recorded and reviewed, Risk Registers supports informed decision-making, transparency, and assurance.

Record and manage issues and incidents alongside risks
Assess risks using likelihood and impact scoring
Define and track mitigation and response actions

Track changes in status, severity, and exposure
Control access using role-based permissions
Risk Registers supports the consistent recording of risks, issues, and incidents using defined categories, descriptions, and assessment criteria.
Risks can be assessed using likelihood and impact ratings, while issues and incidents can be tracked based on severity, impact, and required response.
This ensures different types of exposure are managed appropriately while remaining visible in a single, coherent register.

Every risk, issue, and incident is assigned a clear owner responsible for monitoring and managing it.
Mitigation and response actions can be defined and tracked, providing clarity on what is being done, who is accountable, and whether exposure is reducing over time.
This helps ensure that risks, issues, and incidents are actively managed rather than recorded and forgotten.

Review dates and status indicators help teams keep records current and relevant.
This supports a living register that reflects current conditions rather than historic assumptions.

Dashboards provide an aggregated view of organisational exposure across risks, issues, and incidents. Visual tools such as risk heat maps help leadership teams quickly understand concentration, severity, and trends. This supports prioritisation and informed discussion at management and board level. Where risks, issues, or incidents relate to projects or programmes, Risk Registers can be linked to Project Portfolios. This allows key exposure to be referenced within project updates while remaining actively managed within the register.
Where risks, issues, or incidents give rise to audit recommendations or control weaknesses, Audit Actions can be used to track follow-up activity while Risk Registers maintains visibility of the underlying exposure.
